Beale
Air Force Base is a high-altitude recon-naissance aircraft
base. Located in the Sacramento Valley, it is home to the only
state-side reconnaissance wing, which recently flew the SR-71
Blackbird and still flies the nation's fleet of U2 spyplanes.
Beale
is also one of four U.S. locations for the Phased Array Warning
System, a unique radar |

system housed in a large pyramidal building. Also called
PAVE-PAWS, the system tracks airborne and space-borne objects
over the Pacific Ocean. The base covers 23,000 acres and
employs 4,000 people. |

to perform operations and maintenance of the Base Telephone
System 24 hours/day, 7 days/week. |

Perform operations, preventive and cor-rection
maintenance and Recurring Support Service on the MSL-100 telephone
switch in Building 2156 and remotes. |

Any equipment substitutions or upgrades
for any provided product(s) that may
become available as a result of technical
improvements. |

Engineering, site preparation, installation, testing, cutover,
operation and management, billing, and maintenance. |
|
Service and equipment for adds, moves,
deletions and changes, locate cable and
maintain records and drawings.
