Sheppard Air Force Base is one of the most diver-sified
of the training bases in AETC. The 82nd Training Wing's
training programs are administered by the 82nd, 782nd,
882nd and 982nd Training Groups.
Major base support is provided by the 82nd Support Group,
the 82nd Medical Group and the 82nd Logistics Group. The
80th Flying Training Wing is the home of the Euro-NATO
Joint Jet Pilot Training program (ENJJPT), the Free World's
only internationally manned and managed
undergraduate pilot training program.

Technical training
is provided in the major academic areas of aircraft maintenance,
civil engineering, comptroller, electronics, fuels, telecommunications,
biomedical sciences, dentistry, health service administration,
clinical sciences, medical readiness, nursing, and aeromedical
education.

First Support Services is a Partner in
Aurora Group Telecommunications, LLC with UKPIK Mechanical,
Inc. of Anchorage, Alaska that provides:

All personnel, equipment,
parts, materials, and services for operation and maintenance
of Base Telephone System, which includes support service
on the DCO Switch of approximately 6400 voice and data lines
and ancillary systems, inside/outside cable plant, 1A2, Norstar,
TIE key systems, and customer premise equipment 24 hours/day,
7 days/week. |

Providing technical improvements
to include design and installation engineering, site preparation,
installation, testing, cutover, and O&M for existing
and new BTS systems. |
